How To Use Amazon Mechanical Turk For Website Critique

@searchcyrus I use Amazon Mechanical Turk to crowdsource projects, such as getting feedback on the user experience, design, and content of my websites and landing pages. #websitereview #websiteaudit #websitecritique #websitetips #conversionrateoptimization #websitedesign #webdesign #webdesigntips #marketingtips #userexperience #ux #userfeedback ♬ original sound – SearchCyrus – SEO Expert

What is MTurk?

Amazon Mechanical Turk is a crowdsourcing marketplace for simple tasks.

Workers can sign up and accept simple jobs such as transcribing videos into text.

Anyone can sign up as a requestor to list a job or project they need completed.

What can MTurk be used for?

There is no limit to the use cases possible with a platform like MTurk.

Some common use cases include:

  • Editing
  • Surveys
  • Machine learning
  • Data collection
  • Quality assurance
  • Data extraction

Using MTurk for website feedback

Something I like to use MTurk for is getting feedback on my websites and landing pages.

I create a new project that asks people to write their feedback and opinions about my webpage.

I usually reward $1 per assignment and I cap the number of assignments at 25-50 people.

After a day or two I usually get at least 10-20 responses which is enough to help me make improvements to my landing page.

I recommend MTurk to anyone who’s looking to quickly get feedback on a new landing page, without breaking the bank.
